Roatan Information FAQ > Getting There & Around

I am bringing my children. What are the requirements?

If under 18 children are not traveling with both parents, at minimum, they may need a notarized letter from the absent parent allowing them to travel with the other parent and enter Honduras. The embassy can help you with that information. The Honduran Embassy in the US can be contacted at:

Embassy of Honduras
3007 Tilden Street, NW
Suite 4M
Washington, DC 20008
tel: (202) 966-7702
fax: (202) 966-9751
embassy@hondurasemb.org

In practice, the notarized letter is not always checked, but it is better to be in compliance with the regulation.
