What is the population of Honduras and the Bay Islands?

The population of the country is estimated at six million inhabitants; the great majority being racially mixed with ethnic minorities such as the Garífunas, Lencas, Miskitos, Pech, Tawahkas, Tolupanes and Chortís. The population of the Bay Islands is estimated at around 40,000, with about 30,000 of those on Roatan.
