I'm not familiar with Calabash Cabana, but I will assume it is in the West End (were all the fun is). In the west end there are all kinds of great places to eat and drink. Some appear to be a bit "unkept" but don't let that stop you. If you rent a car or are adventurous to take a cab you could visit the sandy bay area and try out Ricks Cafe American (great food and Great sunset views). Don't miss the bird park in sandy bay and if you get to French Harbour, Tres Flores has great mexican food and more great views.
In a nut shell don't be afraid to try all that Roatan has to offer. ----- Original Message ----- From: Losse, Jack(John) Sent: Friday, March 02, 2001 2:57 PM Subject: Re: [Roatan] Introduction Hi Bill.......thanks for the note..........I live east of you just North of Wausau Wisconsin........This is our first trip to Roatan.........tho we are not divers, we think the rest is ideal for us staying at Calabash Cabana from 3/20 thru 3/27........signed up for this newsletter to learn more of what we can see and do while there.........any suggestions?......we are both late 50's and retired and like more laid back activities, yet also like good food and drink.......

Hello Fellow Roatan Enthusiests:
My name is Bill Bunker and I and my family live in Minnesota. I fell for Roatan about 5 years again and visited on and off since. Lat year my wife, Phyllis, and I bought into Seadancer Cabanas and have returned 5 times March of last Year. My kids always look forward to going back. I have yet to find any better diving value in the Carribean. Hope you all get to see Roatan at least once.
Adios
