| Subject: | [Roatan] Another sand flea question |
We have spent many vacations on Cozumel including a lot of time on the undeveloped windward side. We have also visited many beaches in Quintana Roo from Isla Mujeres to Chetumal and never been bit by anything that we can recall. Two possible conclusions are that sand fleas choose not to inhabit Quintana Roo or that they choose not to bother us. A third conclusion is that we are so used to 10 lb. mosquitos (our state bird) and our swarming biting gnats that we simply didn't notice the little buggers.
