Hi, I'm Gail. In 1994 my husband and I bought 2 acres of land on Roatan
below Tres Flores Restaurant. We have an incredible view of the north coast
of the island. We come every year or two and stay in West End. We almost
built a house on our land, but have decided it is too remote. We love the
charm, people, ambiance, and food in West End and will probably sell or
    trade
for something near there. When we were there last week I was snorkeling and
saw a spotted eagle ray. It was 4 feet across and with it's tail 8 ft.
    long.
It swam about 10 feet in front of me. An awesome experience. Back in
upstate NY we have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 sons who have finished college. We
easily grow tired of winter and want to go back to the warms of Roatan soon.
    Gail
