Hi Kip I would happily contributed to that fund if I had known about one while I was down there. The sight of so many dogs, horses with open sores, damaged eyes, ribs and pelvic bones hanging out would have motivated me to put money towards spay/neuter programs--wenda ----- Original Message ----- From: Kip Weiss To: roatan.....com Sent: Tuesday, January 21, 2003 10:26 AM Subject: Re: [roatan] bringing a dog onto the island Last year I had suggested having some kind of donation "to help care for the dogs of Roatan". What I had in mind was possibly small donations from the cruise ship passengers, a raffle maybe. The proceeds to go directly to a vet for spaying and neutering them and maybe a doggy soup kitchen. If they aren't bothering anybody and multiplying out of control, maybe,...hopefully ,..whoever is poisoning them will stop.
