Juliet: Good morning. I would be happy to pass on solar information on the
    list
to you. I am placing a call to Mr. Charles George of Caribbean Electric
("Vegus") this morning. We have discussed my needs at the research center,
    and
are now fine-tuning what I want so that we can establish a price. I have
    talked
to a good number of people about the US, Canada, and UK and have about
    decided
(depending upon Mr. George's price for parts and total installation) that it
would make more economics to have an island firm do the job. I do have a
    good
friend on the island who has been with solar for a long time, and I think
together he and I could do the job (he designed and installed his own
    systems),
but since I do not live full time on Roatan, most of the burden of the work
would fall on my friend and that just isn't what I want to happen. I will
    indeed
keep you posted. I can tell you now that I am looking at a system or systems
that will generate and store between 20kw and 35kw. I intend to have a
    diesel
generator, and I intend to remain hooked to RECO as well.

    All the best, dke
