I agree, whole heartedly, with Kristin. Our experience has been that it is quite rough there. We've been out there several times and its always been too rough to snorkel. But its great for sunbathing. If the cruise ship are in, I'd stay put n West End and snorkel in Half Moon Bay. The beach here is not West Bay by any means, but its still nice and there is a lot see here in the Bay and the reef is an easy snorkel from the beach. - Sue kristin kallsen wrote: I have been out to Paya Bay which is in the proximity. My experience has been that the water was relatively rough and the visibility poor. Camp Bay is very isolated and may be worth a drive to see if you have the time, but unless you REALLY value total isolation I doubt that you will enjoy it as much as West Bay.
A possible exception may be if the cruise ships are in and you don't want to see any other tourists. Normally West Bay has some activity but no crowds. -----Original Message----- From: CMorales.....com Date: Thursday, January 25, 2001 6:12 PM Subject: RE: [Roatan] Welcome! >Kristin, > >This is West Bay Beach?
