I also believe it is most likely West Bay. We've seen West Bay many (beautiful) colors and shades over the years. It is truly one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen and certainly on Roatan.

Sandy Bay isn't that kind of beach mostly, but it is good for fishing out beyond the reef and there are some great dive spots right from the shore. There are also some nice docks to sit out on that are often empty. I would go out at night sometimes and lay on the docks. Since there aren't many lights, you can see more stars than you can believe. We counted eight shooting stars one evening in about two hours.
