Shawn, there are less sand flies in February and March than perhaps any other months...with March having almost no rain and lacking that hot-hot feeling that comes with some days in late May through September. March is my personal favorite month on Roatan...the flowers are all in bloom after the winter rains, and these rains have washed the island clean...the flora doesn't begin to get that grey, dusty look until about June. You have selected the very best month to visit.
