This is correct. The west end is also a marine preserve were fishing is NOT
    allowed.

Hi, From everything I've read, the resorts don't want you to fish off their
reefs. So many divers come, to SEE to fish, not to eat the fish. At least,
that's what they told us at Cocoview and Anthony's Key. You might want to
    take
a boat to the outer reefs to spear-fish. Let us know where you will be
    staying
    and how nice it is.

Hi....we are four soon to be first time tourists to Roatan....two of
    us
    are avid
divers... We want to fish the reef.....and would also like to spear
    enough
    fish
    to eat...

Is there anyplace on Roatan...where spearfishing is allowed?
