Here's an idea for us all to think about.....Let's each one of us ask ourselves the following question: Why did we subscribe to this group in the first place? I imagine the answers are as great in number as are the participants. I'll start,okay? 1. I'm here to learn more about the Bay Islands from people who have first hand knowledge of the area. 2. I'm here to avoid the "sites" that exist solely to make money for their owners/promoters. 3. I'm here to exchange thoughts about the positives and negatives of becoming a visitor/vacationer/part-time/full-time resident.Ex: Are the noseeums REALLY that bad? 4. I'm here to laugh at funny stuff and giggle at less funny stuff and to offer POLITE responses and maybe even an alternative point of view now and then. ( A wee game of courteously played verbal- volleyball now and then) 5. I'm here to maybe even make a friend or two before I visit the islands (since I don't know anyone there). 6. I'm still here because some of you have taken the time to email me and respond. in spite of the fact that I live in Upstate New York. (Snowcones anyone?)
