RE: 4 hours in San Pedro Sula Margaret, Bring a good book! In my opinion, there is very little you can do in San Pedro Sula in that length of time and get back to the airport to make a 4:20 flight. On the bright side, SAP is not that bad of an airport and the restaurant there actually serves ok food, if you want to grab lunch. There are also a few nice little shops in the airport to browse in. Another suggestion would be ... Upon your arrival, check with Taca/Islena (who I am assuming your reservation is with) and see if they have an earlier flight you can get on. That's what I would do.
