Hello! I have spent a good amount of time in both places and Bocas does not compare to Roatan if you are looking for good diving and good people. There is more to do on Bocas (culturally), but Roatan has a good amount of culture and charm of it's own as well as incredible diving, cheap expenses and excellent people. Bocas is a great vacation as well, but in my opinion Roatan is head and shoulders above Bocas del Toro. Either way have a great trip, and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
