Alyssa-Thanks for your input.Your remarks about the people were interesting. We have found the expat population to be strange in Bocas. I call them fringe-dwellers.I am not being pejorative however in all our travels we have never been around such a catty ,clawing for money ,usually via some kinky RE deal group of people with few positive things to say about their neighbors. That isn't what we want in a place to live and play.Perhaps in 5 yrs Bocas will change . The outer islands are great for estancia type living but a bit to far removed for our tastes. We are looking at props in West Bay-your thoughts?What area would you suggest for the best social integration etc?Roger | |
