Vegas electric can provide you with different satellite phone options directly on Roatan. You can visit their website at http://www.vegaselectric.net/ > What about DTV and Sat phones? DirectTV works on Roatan, but you need the 6' dishes instead of the little 18" dishes. There are local providers of that equipment and programming, but I'm sorry, I don't have their contact info.
