Nelson...you can buy such wire at a number of places...the hardware stores (2) in Coxen Hole or from D.V.Wood's Building supply in French Harbour. You might (depending upon size of area to be covered), buy quarter inch sheets of plywood that come standard size 4'X8' and rip them in half or possible in thirds and tack them up...a heck of a lot cheaper than shipping them from the States, and will be useful later when they are removed. From here on out til the rains come again the plywood should do well enough, and you won't have to buy the expensive Marine quality...drawbacks...won't let the breeze through. Depending upon how long you want to stay you might consider buying 4' x 8' sections of lattice-work...either the wooden variety or the white plastic and fitting that to your porch. You didn't mention it, but you will surely need a well-made child proof gate at the top of those steps that fastens on the outside but opens inward with a strong spring on the outsideto keep it closed and a barrel-bolt (that a child cannot reach over and open) fitted to the outside...absolutely necessary to prevent a toddler from falling down those steps! I remember doing the same thing to the back steps of what is today the French Harbour Dive and Yacht Club back in 1974...it was known then as "The Caribinn"...to keep our daughter alive! Even then I don't think her mom allowed her out of her sight! Good luck and all the best...dke
