Hi Maggie,
I'm assuming you mean two foreign citizens (US in this case) and not a foreign citizen marrying a Honduran. The requirements will be different in either case. If it is two US citizens, then what Melanie posted a while back may be helpful:
Did someone ask again about marriage requirements? I got these the other day from the Municipality on Roatan:
- 2 birth certificates - copies of passports - medical report with HIV test - if divorced a copy of the divorce decree - if never married, a statement from the corresponding authority. This should be from the State Government in the US, or a notarized document. - receipt from the Aduana for Lps. 15 - two witnesses with copies of their passports.
These do not need to be translated or authenticated. The fee for the ceremony is Lps. 150 if it is done at the Municipal Building.
You can also see an article she did that is more pertinent to Hondurans or expat residents getting married in Honduras. Look under the Legal Forum at: http://www.honduranlaw.com/
