Forwarded: I'm a PhD candidate in Psychiatry at Leicester University UK and President of the Tursiops Society Onlus, a non-profit biosociomedical Association for the studies and research on Biophilia and Integrative Medicine and the intervention on mental discomfort, recognized by the Region of Piemonte, Italy. You can find more information visiting our website at www.tursiopssociety.org We are conducting a study on the therapeutic value of animals (dolphins) in the treatment of affective disorders (moderate depression)at the Rims, Anthony's Key Resort, Roatan, Honduras. Although we have published several announcement on the radio, national newspapers and local tv, we have been able to recruit just two patients (research subjects). Therefore, we are now planning to recruit the patients from Miami and abroad. Patients will have free accomodation for the period of their permanence (three weeks) in Roatan. We would be very grateful to you indeed if you could help us with the publication of the announcement and the divulgation of our work. We would need to post several announcements on weekly base until we reach the minimum number of patients required to complete the study (50). We are also in the process to prepare a video to send to international tv, as requested. Televisions' staff will then make their documentary films. The results of the study will be published in international scientific journals. We do believe that is also a great opportunity to promote tourism in Roatan and Honduras.
