Hi all,
I see Kip's recommendation of Tom Campbell showing him around some properties on Roatan. Could anyone tell me if there is a charge for this type of service. If so, what should I expect to pay? If not what should we tip at the end of the tour? We are from Scotland and are not quite sure how things work over that side of the Atlantic as regarding payment for property tours. Would appreciate some guidance.
We are coming down in September with the idea of looking at the Island as a possible place to buy a bed and breakfast type place and make Roatan our home. Both our sons live and work on Grand Cayman and we would like them to eventually join us.
I am a retired North Sea saturation diver/supervisor with 30 years of bend, trauma and illness treatment experience and would maybe like to offer my hyperbaric experience to one of the chamber facilities in Roatan, in addition to running a bed and breakfast with my wife. Does anyone know how the chamber facilities are manned on Roatan. In the Cayman Islands the chamber has a full time manager and the rest of the crew are volunteers! They have just recently started offering hyperbaric oxygen therapy and trauma treatment in addition to emergency bend treatment on Grand Cayman. Is oxygen therapy offered on Roatan? I would appreciate any help and advice from the group members. Thanks.
