Check out the internet site: www.cdc It is the centre for Disease Control in Atlanta, Georgia or the WHO site. Dengue Fever is very nasty and is the result of a mosquito bite which usually occurs during the day, as opposed to malaria which is more of a dusk to dawn biter, in more urban than rural places where there has been standing water-no vaccine for it so it$B!G(Bs critical to use mosquito precautions. In general the rate of dengue has been on the increase in the past year to all areas. Speak to your local travel clinic-since info changes regularly.
