Hi all, I had a fantastic vacation last year in Belize (Ambergis Caye/San Pedro) and am looking for something similar ... a hotel on the beach like Ramone's ... a dive shop like Amigos del Mar ... but more importantly a place that is not overrun by tourists, honeymooners and families ... a place where a single woman travelling alone can be safe and have a good time. I like going out and meeting people but I also like hanging out in a hammock and doing absolutely nothing. Am I looking in the right place? Any suggestions for hotels, restaurants, etc? I'm thinking of going in June. Thanks for your suggestions. Valerie | |
