Though I haven't received many answers to my previous post, from what I've been reading I get the impression I would probably be happiest in the West Bay or West End. I would appreciate any input and any advice as to accomidations. I'm looking at Foster's, which has accommodation in both areas, but an open to any suggestions. As I stated before, I'm a single man, traveling alone, and I plan to take an open water certification course. I hope this will be the first of many visit, if the impression I'm getting of the island is at all accurate. I've spent a fair amount of time in a few other counties, and I speak Spanish (badly). I simply mention this to indicate that I have respect for any local culture, expatriate and indigenous, and am not solely an idiot tourist, though that will pretty much be my role on this trip.
