    Trelle,

You can see some of the available rental car agencies by looking on
www.roatanet.com . That will give you an idea of the prices, and
you might be able to contact them by email. Otherwise, most rental
car agencies have an office in the airport.

You can use your foreign driver's license for up to 30 days. Carry
it when you drive, along with the registration card for the vehicle,
which the rental people will give you. There are ocassionally
police stops set up in the road, and everyone has to stop and show
those two documents, so just have them ready, and smile :):):)

Cheap beer is everywhere! In West End there will be some happy
hours at one or two bars in the evening, or you might grab some
cheap canned beer at the grocery store. Or if you're really
ingenious, buy a case of bottles, and get them refilled at a place
called a "deposito." Might cost $25 to invest in the bottles, but
the refills will be cheaper, and you can probably get your bottle
    deposit back.

    Have fun!
