Hi, we just returned from Roatan and did the Canopy Tour Ride. It was great, very well run and SAFE. My wife, myself and my 75 year old father all went. The views were awesome from the tree tops and yes the first couple times stepping off the tree top platforms was scary. The water fall isn't done yet but should be pretty soon. I'd very highly recommend it to anyone of most any age however I could also understand why some people wouldn't do it when you look off the starting platform and even the first few platforms it is very intimidating. All I can tell you is to trust the guides they were very professional, friendly and looked toward safty first. I can also send some pics if you'd like to see we took about 20 while on it You cruise over tree tops, through trees and over creeks from the mountain top clear down to the beach, and our cost was only $30 for the ride WELL WELL WORTH IT. Personaly if I were you I wouldn't look at any pics before you go I think this would take away some of the impact of when you first step up to the starting platform.
