Yes, you should review your options. Short term travel insurance is one thing (AAA), dive insurance is another (DAN), but if you live on the island full or part time, especially those on Medicare, other private insurance in the states or no insurnace, HOW are you going to get off the island? As an ex-pat resident, for a medical emergency, these won't cover you.
