One more thing about the DAN, if you read it, it is
TRAVEL insurance. Don't bet on them covering you if
you live here. I'v been a nurse for over 25 years,
also had my own consulting business and have dealt
with many insurance companies as well as Medicare and
Medicaid. These policies sound great, but when you
    start reading the small print.................be
careful. There are a lot of "if's and's, but's and
exceptions". Next time I find something that I feel
might benefit some of us on the island, I will just
    keep it to myself.

If you're laying in "the Hole's hospital" oe Wood's
    Clinic, with a non-travel, non-diving, even DAN's
travel medical illness, because you live here and are
not traveling, be prepared to get out your checkbook.
It's not a chance I can afford to take for myself. My
Medicare and most insurance companies in the U.S.
    aren't going to cover this.

Again, this is geared for those living on the island
on a permanent basis, not just traveling. It is
strictly a "get me off the island to a decent
hospital" plan. One phone call, no insurnace
companies to deal with, no forms, and you are out of
    here.
