Most international policies have evac insurance, some automatically, some as an add on. Not very expensive. I have not heard of anyone who has used somthing like this in a place like Roatan. We called our number just to check and they were responsive, though we did not have an emergency. Phones have to be working for ANY option -- definitely a problem here. In our case, plane would come from states, so likely 6 hours minimum before you got back to states.
