Don't know what you have on hand there....or can get brought in but....Solarcaine medicated first aid lotion works very well, also on burns,sunburn and painful superficial wounds. Caladryl is great for itching from bites and contact stuff. But usually you have aspirin on hand and plain aspirin diluted with a little warm water and swabbed onto an inflamed area will settle the swelling and calm the itch.
