I have no idea how to do what you propose, but would be inertested in an answer if you get one. As far as I know, there are no drop off or one way rentals in CA. Oh, and I sure wouldn't ship a rental to Roatan--in fact I'd be surprised if that was possible. Also, I'd be surprised if you can cross a national border in a rental. Again, I'd be interested in how this one turns out.
My guess is they'd maybe be renting a different car in each country????

Have some friends who are flying into San Salvador, renting a car and traveling to Nicaragua and Honduras. They want to go to Roatan for 5 days or so and I'm guessing that it would not be worth it (time and $$) to ship the rental car to and from Roatan. But I know of no reasonably safe and secure place (oxymoron?) in Ceiba to store a car? There is always the airport parking lot but........ Any ideas? Un mil gracias in advance.
