That depends on who manages it--no doubt! The BEST on the island--and also someone who lives closeby Sandy Bay-- are Stella and Fran at westend.....com. If you don't just LOVE these people I'll eat a bug!!!!!! Many people "try" to rent places themselves--from stateside--and get into all sorts of troubles just to avoid a fee. They also don't have much success getting tenants. You can only do this yourself if you're living here to handle things--like we are. No, we no longer manage houses for other folks--our own Inn is all we can handle properly. Besides we don't have to anymore--there is--FINALLY--someone else here who is honest and knows this crazy business. This one's a no brainer. Use someone here who KNOWS what they're doing and you'll do just fine. NO, you will NOT get rich renting ANYTHING on Roatan. This much I'm VERY sure of from personal experience. But you CAN break even IF you do it right and follow the advice of people who DO know what they're doing. These guys are great! Everyone loves Stella and Fran!
