Use lemon Pledge furniture polish. It is cheaper than insecticides and is not harmful. You can kill thousands in a minutes. The furniture wax sticks to them and they can't fly or jump. The Lemon smell confuses them. I know it sounds crasy but try it. I used to use WD40 and it works but Pledge smells better ( My wife doesn't complain I smell like diesel) and it atomizes better.
