Rick, Roatan is as safe as any vacation spot can be, it all depends on the visitor-- you use good common sense, respect the people, their island, and their ways, doing this you should be as safe as any place else. I have been traveling to roatan for years and have never felt in danger. I am never more relaxed than when I am in Roatan. Just use good common sense and enjoy. Sam | |
