Hello, I used Visa travellers cheques without a problem...but...I had already established a relationship with the merchants. It might be a good idea to check with the merchant before your arrival and make sure he/she is willing to accept them. The same thing holds true with larger US bills ( greater than $20). I just noticed my travellers cheques are Visa, not American Express. In general, will this be a problem on Roatan? They are issued in American dollars. American Express seem to be the only travellers cheques ever mentioned.
Thanx, Anne C.
