Hi Group, just a comment on this situation.Good friends of ours were attacked
in their home only this week. The nanny and the baby were seriously at risk, let
alone the expensive gear that was taken. This was in West Bay.Now it's
happening in Port Royal!! We are from the UK and the concept of arming ourselves does
not sit easily with us,we are unused to guns and such!
However,we have been here nearly 3 months now and in all fairness, love the
island and the people, but after hours of debate have now decided reluctantly to
follow the correct procedure, and get a gun.I just hope the day never comes
    when we use it.
I could ramble on about this for an age,but unless there is a collective
zero-tolerance of this kind of thing,it would be a waste of time.Honduras needs
the income from the Bay Islands, and now perhaps they should address the safety
of it's investors. And remember too that this site is open to any future
investor or holiday-maker,that now may or may not come to Roatan. What would you do?
    Sean and Zak
