i just want to say that we do in fact have crimes here
as well as the rest of the world. it is important to
let eachother know about them as well, but lets face
it , you are in honduras. or did you forget since it
is am island off the coast. this is a poor country and
will continue to be that way weather forigen
investments come or not. i do not like to hear of it
happening, but it does! i have lived here full time
for almost 15 years and i had never had a problem in
my home or buisness. i do have 6 dogs to protect my
home and when i go to sleep i sleep with my doors open
. that is not what everyone wants to deal with but i
always feel safe. the other thing to remember is the
people here are not always the most intelegent but
they have big pride. alot of the crimes that happen is
from people who ahve done someone wrong (by their way
of thinking) and it is revenge.trust me i know. i hear
alot of things that go on around the island. so, think
twice before you are so quick to be little any of your
workers and neighbors. because they are the ones who
know your lifestyle and schudle. and as the other post
said, next time you ge in a road block, hand the guy a
50 or 100 L it means alot more to them then you!
