Up here in the states,, local town, countys etc have a program called "CrimeStoppers" A pretty good description is at http://winnebagocrimestoppers.org/aboutus.htm
Most if not all of it is funded by local people as well as local businesses. Hey a safe and crime free area is just plain good for Business.
I bet we could start a island wide version.
I bet all the Cruise Lines would be interested in helping fund it too. it's better for them too!
