Telling people they can get the hell out of Dodge if they don't like it does not solve the problem with crime and murder in Roatan! We all know Roatan now has a couple of great lawyers and a handful of great realtors for buying and selling land, which has not always been true.
But, please, the origin of this topic was on robberies and murders. I'd love to see an action plan that focuses on this problem come out of the meeting last week. Please don't let one meeting be the end of it. There are plenty of people willing to become involved in the solution. And some of these folks have plenty of assets that they could donate, as well. I hope we will all think lovingly of Roatan and do what we can in unity to move toward a safe and prosperous future for the islanders, and all others concerned.
