Dear Group, Thank you Phil for telling everyone that we can live a positive and happy life in Paradise Roatan. If you are positive, you will be surrounded by all things positive and working into changing negative people. I have lived in Roatan for 13 years now, I came from La Ceiba but had moved to the US before coming to Roatan. I am married to an American and we decided to make Roatan our home. My family still lives in La Ceiba and my husband's in NY. After considering both places, we settled for Roatan and haven't regreted one bit. We are also involved in the community and we do our part to make this place a better place for our workers and their families and our friends. I also have to agree with Rick and not let this momentum expired without doing nothing. We must get together a lot more and keep working towards our security. If we need to give a lending hand to the Police, so let's do it by setting up a Security Commission formed by all interested and not just the island authorities and citizens. I think a lot of you have some expertise that can be put to good use. Also just to keep you updated, we finally got a better quote from Yamaha for the Police motorcycles, they will be here next week. Unfortunately, we don't have an update on the cars. Boyd is still researching for the communication equipment and accesories. One more thing, I also spoke with the chief of Police and he asked me if we will do a follow up meeting to last Monday's. They were very impressed of the good turn out and want to get more involved. So we now have the chance. We are still having our meetings on Mondays at the VIP Room, except March 14 & March 21. Lic.
