    To all...

I actually export bamboo from Hunan, China (The Sea of Grass) as
finished flooring. We have different varieties available. Bamboo is
harder than Pine, Maple, etc. and is from a rapidly sustainable
source. A typical mature plant is harvested in six to eight years
without any problems of having to replant since the roots stay in the
ground to be harvested in another six to eight years.

Bamboo has been used for scaffolding (all you have to do is fly over
to China or Hong Kong to see all the new skyscrapers surrounded by
bamboo scaffolding to realize how strong the product is).

    All the best,

    Kye

PS Arco Iris is my favorite place to stay on Roatan. Its not
expensive and the owners are great people.
