Good to see you as well Dian, I can honestly say my folks as well as us had a great time and I know Dian's Garden of Eatin will be the talk of a small social group around Bradenton Fl. and Hartford Ct. As far as the paints go I know of a few and will research some but will need info , if I find anything very positive, on shipping as TACA frowns upon corrosive and flammable paints, they just have no sense of adventure. The problem with any coating is that it needs to be applied as soon as possible before any corrosion takes place and on as virgin of metal as possible. Believe me, I am a former autobody repairman and know all about rust. Car manufacturers even have voided warranty if cars were undercoated because it can lock in rust and it can spread un noticed and when it finally comes thru it is much harder to fix. Rhino linings is the biggest spray in bedliner but I believe that new clean steel would probably do just as good with a coat od Fiberglass resin or Gelcoat considering they see little flex or abuse other than weather. I am fortunate enough to have a new truck here in the US and chose a slide in bedliner and rubber mat. The Spray on/ paintable bedliners are great, but, when there is a problem they can be much harder to fix. Again, I will continue looking into it, and hope some here have more input, and maybe there can be some good come out of it. Till then I will scrape, paint. And most important on our security is continue to try to be a good neihgbor, have good property manager, good watchman, and continue to but food for the watchmans watchdogs.
