Hello all... My name is Gabriel Grimsditch and I am new to the Roatan Group. I am currently working as an intern for the IUCN Marine Programme in Switzerland. To further my marine employment prospects, it is essential that I learn to dive. I have been recommended the Bay Islands as a cheap place to learn with good reefs. Could anyone please recommend me diving schools and places to stay (cheap!)? Would I need to reserve? How do I get in contact with these places? Please take into account I am on an intern's salary at the moment.
