There is also, of course, "National"...but it taste to me like a heavy German beer. I
wonder whether the folks just past Pollytilly Bight on the highway have finished their
brewery? I went through it last July and it looked close to finished, and it looked
first class! They also plan to make a liqueur from hog plums and local fruits. I think
that would be great...there is no end to hog plums on the island...that and wild figs,
and think how great this will be for a number of poor folks as well...that is if it
doesn't lead to folks raiding other's property for the wild fruit to sell. We'll see.
By the way, are folks aware that there are wild grapes on the islands as well? They
are much like the thick skinned scuppernong grapes of the American South.
    All the best...dke
