Hello - Can anyone tell me what is going on with phone service in Roatan? I have been trying to contact someone on West End at their given phone number since February 26. Connections are either dead air, fast busy, or even a disconnect recording. I was encouraged to see pay phones at West End when we visitied in February, 2005, but find the service still lacking??? Or are they working on the lines? Or is this just the accepted standard for phone service? What's the answer from the local folks?
