I know not everyone dives, hence the word "most". If not diving, snorkeling...I realize there are many other reasons to go to Roatan. It's not a "take it or leave it attitude" from he tourist industry, Im only saying "it is what it is" and "some" people dont realize that when they plan their trip. I in no way meant my comments to be negative, if people know what to expect ahead of time it's easier for them, that's all! I'm sure many people who live on the island would agree.. People need to know that when they visit a place like Roatan, you may experience loss of electricity at any time and without warning, loss of telephone service. The stores and banks make their own rules and change them quite often..I have to say I got used to all those things when I lived there..but some people on vacation dont understand how things work. Believe me, I LOVE Roatan! with all it's quirks and imperfections...I would go back in a heartbeat!
Smiles, Sandy
