Actually, I cannot begin to understand why such a significant topic as crime and potential solutions would be sequestered to another forum where potential investors and visitors would be insulated from the realities of the community. Undoubtedly, there may be residents with commercial interests in Roatan who understandably are sensitive to any negative impact these public discusssions may have on their future business. However, I personally believe that it is essential to operate with a spirit of honesty and transparency in all community discussions.
