As of this morning I have received ttwenty-three e-mails from people on the island, or planning a trip this summer, asking me where they can buy a copy of the new historical novel based on the island entitled: The Judas Bird : A Modern Treasure Tale
I know most are aware from the tag I add to my e-mails that autographed and dedicated copies of the book are available directly from my web site < http://www.thejudasbird.com >, as well as, for a bit more money, from Amazon.Com. On the island it can be bought from the book store at Que Tal Café, and from the boutique " Yabba Ding Ding" in Coxen Hole. While on island last week I also signed 50 more copies that can be bought from the novel's island agent, Daine Wood Etches, at either her home or her place of business ("Sundowner") at West End Town, just to the right as one encounters the stone turnaround from the highway. Her E-mail address is < loafer.....hn >. I also signed a few copies still available at the bookstore at "Casi Todo", located upstairs at Que Tal Café. Unfortunately, the rest of the books on the island are not yet signed. If anyone would care to look over the novel's reviews, please go to its web site listed above and click on "Reviews", and this is an excellent time for me to pubically thank all you good folks who wrote to me and took the time to review the book...thank you indeed!
All the best...dke http://www.wfu.edu/~dkevans http://www.thejudasbird.com
