My husband and I just returned from a 3 week stay in Roatan. Our very first visit but I suspect not our last. This is due in large part to where we stayed -- Casa de Paradise. It was great. I had researched the web and this board and found that first, we wanted to be somewhere on West Bay. Then I just started going thru the web. The pictures posted for Case De Paradise were accurate. What you see is what you get. The place was beautiful, well taken care of with even a couple of stray cats(Buddy and Pablocito) to feed for those home sick for their own critters. Teresa & Kevin Roughton the rental agents were great to work with and answered ALL our e-mails and helped us get taxis etc while there. We loved the location(mini mart next door) and the amenities of the 1 bedroom apartment we stayed in. There are 2 smaller places available also. The fact that the rental agent and the owners were right there was a plus too. I'm sure most of you on the this board & from Roatan know Ron & Myra Cumins. What great people! They made our stay so much more enjoyable. They made us feel like 'old friends' or part of their family. Most of the time when trying to tell people where we were was kinda difficult because it's not one of the big hotels but as soon as you said Ron Cumins' place then all the taxi drivers and others knew what and where you were talking about. I wish I could go back to take advantage of their April special. I urge anyone looking for that 'home away from home' to sign right up and go; you will NOT be disappointed. Give our love to Ron, Myra, Rudy, Buddy and Pablocito! Then just sit back and enjoy. It really is the house of paradise!
