    Hi!

I am bringing a group of 14 divers to the island April 23-30 and we are looking to help bring some small items over. I have heard that schools are in need of supplies. Do you know if this is true? Also, if you somehow know of a list of items that we can bring over, that would be great!

You can contact me by replying to this email.

    Thanks so much!

    Mary, et al,

I am personally familiar with an orphanage located on Roatan that is
currently home for twenty-seven needy children. The children range in
age from as young as three up to seventeen. They can all definitely use
some good clothing, shoes, and any other household supplies, food, etc.
that you and others might be willing to offer. The orphanage is located
right off the coastline road approximately one mile west of Coxen Hole.

If you would like to contact me off-line, I can also provide you with
the contact info for a young Christian couple who live on Roatan. These
are folks who will ensure that any and all donations do, in
fact...physically reach the orphans who need it. I know they typically
visit the Baptisti orphanage at least twice weekly...and are preparing
to move into the orphanage shortly after the end of this school year
(they currently teach at a small school located outside French Harbor).
    In His service,
    Tim

    he has given.

I am new to the group but visit Roatan frequently. My husband and I
like to bring clothing and household items for the locals who cannot
afford the extras in life. Does anyone have a good suggestion on
where we can leave our donations. Is there a children's home or other
similar charities on the island. Your help is appreciated. Mary
