    Hi Joe,

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. We've been having computer problems and our electricity was out for awhile during this storm. Here is a list of items we could really use to help the children here.

    DONATIONS & VOLUNTEERS

Baby Care Items (for Littlest Angels):

    Bottles
    Baby wash cloths
Diaper bags, cloth diapers, & wipes
    A&D ointment and triple antibiotic
    diaper rash ointment
    Potty training pants
    Pacifiers, teething rings & gel
Baby lotion, soap, powder, & shampoo
Lightweight clothing for infants to 4 years
    Receiving blankets
Quilts, floor gym/mats to lay on the floor
Small stuffed animals & small toys (rattles, etc.) for stimulation
    Vitamins: prenatal, infant, and child
    Infant & child Tylenol
Nose aspirators (suction bulbs to clear mucus)
Powdered baby formula for mothers who are unable to breast feed
Expired formula is ok up to 5 years after expiration date
Preemie items are desperately needed due to the high rate of premature and low birth weight infants born here. There is a great need for 22 calorie formula

Any other items an infant, expectant mother, or mother would need

    Other needs:

Condoms to prevent HIV/AIDS and unwanted pregnancy
Antibiotics, nebulizers, tubing, and inhalation solution
School supplies, clothing, toys for older siblings
    Maternity clothes and nursing bras
Peanut butter (a good source of protein)
Children’s books in English and Spanish
The following books: What to Expect when you are Expecting & What to Expect the First Year, by Heidi Murkoff. What to Expect the Toddler years, by Arelene Eisenburg.
Sample or travel size perfumes, lotions, soaps, etc., to be used periodically as small gifts to the women in our program

Supplies for the Winged Angels Program:

    Dry erase markers

Educational supplies and Art supplies, i.e., construction paper, etc., for schools k-6th grades
School supplies (backpacks, notebooks, etc.) for children attending school.
Playground toys, i.e., balls, jump ropes, etc.

    Office Supplies:

Computer paper/Copy machine paper (white and color)
Pink and purple paper for pamphlet handouts on prenatal, positive parenting, etc.
HP printer ink: #45 black, #78 color, #23 color

One hundred percent of donations go directly to the people in need. If we have an abundance of certain items, we will donate those items to other families and/or nonprofits that have a need for them. Our organization consists solely of volunteers. At present, no one in our organization receives a salary and all overhead costs are bourn by the volunteers or are being donated to us.

If you have any questions or would like more information concerning our needs, please contact Nancy Agnew at WOTG.....com. Thank you for your interest in our organization.
If the moderator and you don't have a problem with this, please don't go
    and hide off list.

I'm planning on bringing a lot of people to Roatan, and we usually do
some sort of an ECO project we we do our events, But this time we (well
our organization) is thinking of possibly having all the people bring
supplies to donate to the island. What a way to save shipping? Just to
have them bring it with them when they come.

    Joe
